LSD Love Sex Aur Dhokha Review, Movie Review of LSD Love Sex Aur Dhokha

Obscene, vulgar and a movie that probably just deals with titillating the audiences is what the initial perception of the movie was. But after having watched the movie one can' t help but just gush about how spectacularly the director has managed to captivate you as an audience.

The movie has a well knit plot, some commendable performances and an absolute brilliant direction.

So enthralled it left the audiences that when the movie broke for an interval, instead of rushing to buy their buckets of popcorn the audiences were actually seen glued to their seats.

Basically demarcated into three different subplots, the movie deals with three different stories.

The first subplot focuses on the love story between an aspiring actress (Shruti) and an amateur film student (Anshuman Jha). The film student is all set to make a diploma film which is basically a spoof on the Bollywood blockbuster DDLJ. The aspiring actress on the other hand belongs to a family who disapproves of her relationship with the director due to which the two of them elope and get married.

Subplot two deals the whole motivation behind the making of an MMS clip. It draws a somewhat uncanny resemblance to Anurag Kashyap' s Dev D pasteurized on Kalki Koechin.

The third subplot on the other hand exposes the so called "casting couch" phenomena existing in the glamour world and the sting operations carried out by various news channels to expose the same.

Dibakar yet again proves his mettle with this movie-his third after Khosla Ka Ghosla and Oye Lucky Lucky Oye!. His remarkable eye for detail can be seen throughout the film. The entire movie has been shot with a handy cam but the same has been done with so much precision that each and every shot seems to have been taken with as sophisticated a camera as any other film.

Dibakar Bannerjee along with Kanu Behl as cinematographers seamlessly entwine each and every piece of the plot into such an amazing film that leaves you spellbound.

Even though Dibakar has ventured into untouched terrain as far as the genre is concerned, his Delhi essence and flavor is pretty much visible in the dialogues, characters and theme of the film.

This is one movie which I would highly recommend to all those people who love watching dark films with a tinge of dry humor as a pivotal element in it.
