Drama was always the main ingredient of Bollywood movies. Now a day even the reality shows are also applying dramas to their show to improve TRP ratings. But, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna doesn' t have the convincing story. The drama could have been better. It was nothing new and fresh. The flip side of the film is the bad writing. Direction by Soni is good, but he lacked in as a writer. The story of the film looks interesting in the beginning, but as it progresses it becomes ordinary and unconvincing. Many parts of the film you won' t like to believe.
Main Aurr Mrs Khanna is the story about three people Raina [Kareena Kapoor], Samir [Salman Khan] and Akash [Sohail Khan] whose lives gets interconnected on an international airport. Time comes when Samir loses everything that he has gained in the city (Melbourne). Now it' s decisive time for him whether to stay in the same city or go to Singapore for a new start. The other two main characters also fall in dilemma later as Raina has to decide whether her husband who left her for career or a good friend Aakash is more justified. However Akash is in thoughts about whether what he feels about a married woman is love or just a lust.
Deepika Padukone' s special appearance in the film was not necessary. It looks like she has roped in the story so that Sohail shouldn' t turn out as a loser. MAMK also has special appearance by Dino Morea. However the golden musician Bappi Lahiri has got a proper role in the film.
Due to bad writing MAMK merits week. Compared to the two other releases of Friday, (Blue and All The Best) Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna scores low. Better to be watched on television. Ronnie Screwvala, Sohail Khan
